One of my favorite things clients tell me is that by the time we meet for our session, I already feel like a best friend. From the moment we connect, it’s my mission to know your life story and capture it with beautiful documentary justice.
And you’ll get to know me just as intensely because I hate small talk and am a certified oversharer. The combination of it all lets me see your life in an authentic, raw, nostalgic way.
My mom developed my first roll of film and put it in an adorable vintage winnie the pooh album. It’s still one of my most prized possessions. That kicked off a life full of polaroids, disposables, DSLRs, and spending countless hours on my grandparents living room floor becoming the expert on our family photo albums. I even did a fourth grade science project on depicting how a 35mm film camera can stop motion. Your girl loves a camera and documentation.
Stay at home with my babies and make a little money taking photos of families? Sign. Me. Up. A lot has changed since then and just as much has stayed the same.I have five kids now which I think makes me a pro in noticing how fast time flies and I’m still taking photos of families. Over 300 actually.
From finding out about your first baby to hanging out with your rapidly growing kids for a family ice cream date, I’m here to document all of it.
And I long to change that.
My sessions are documentary-esq and child led. We focus on the tiny moments, the mundane, the fun, and the love that makes your family so incredibly worthy of freezing in time. We run, we play, we snuggle, we do things your family loves to do any day of the week. We go through in-depth session prep to make sure we get to know each other well which allows for such beautiful vulnerability and I promise to guide you when needed. The end result is a library full of emotional, heart bursting memories that will be cherished for generations.
